Is Depression Only an Upperclass Problem?

- Mental health issues other than depression.
- Confrontations. Conflicts at work or with family members that go unresolved can lead to long-term stress and depression.
- Celebrations. An event such as graduating from college or moving into a new home may appear to be joyous but can also increase the risk of depression.

- Get outside. Sunlight elevates mood, increases Vitamin D, and keeps your internal clock set properly which helps to regulate your sleep patterns which impact your physical and mental health.
- Exercise. Exercise relieves stress and increases endorphins in the body.
- Eat well. A balanced diet rich in vitamins and nutrients will keep your mind and body functioning well.
- Sleep. Your body rejuvenates itself during sleep.
- Socialize. Get together with friends, meet new social circles and find low cost activities to try.
- Stay positive. Keep an upbeat, positive attitude despite of minor daily annoyances.
